The Deputy Head of Mission Ambassador Lt.Gen.Charles Angina received Hon.Tom Butime, the Ugandan Minister of Tourism,Wildlife and Antiquities.

On the 9th of April 2025, Ambassador. Lt.Gen.Charles Angina, the Deputy Head of Mission received Hon.Tom Butime,the Ugandan Minister of Tourism,Wildlife and Antiquities and his delegation to Cairo upon the invitation of His Counterpart  Mr.Sherif Fathi ,the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt Egypt. 

The two Ministers held a meeting that aimed at fostering collaborations of the tourism sectors of both Uganda and Egypt. Egypt is one of the most favourable tourist destinations of the world and hence the minister is on a bench marking tour to seek more ideas to promote Uganda's tourism sector and as well make partnerships with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
