Hon. Anifa Kawooya Bangirana, the state Minister of Health and General duties attends AFRICA CDC meeting in Cairo,

 On the 04th/02/2025, the state Minister of Health and General duties Hon. Anifa Kawooya Bangirana, attended the  Africa CDC, Gavi, the vaccine Alliance and Regionalized Vaccine Manufacturing Collaborative (RVMC), hosted by the Egyptian Unified Procurement Authority and was attended by Ministers of Health of the 17 AU Member states, Global partners, Africa Vaccine and other Health Manufactures, Philanthropies, Au Organs and AVMA investors. 

The objective of the forum was to provide an excellent opportunity to engage with key stakeholders to refine the strategic vision of the regional manufacturing of essential health products in Africa and ensure that sustainable efforts to manufacture vaccines and other priority health products in Africa are effectively coordinated. From the Ugandan side as a member State the meeting was attended by the Head of delegation Hon. Anifa Kawooya Bangirana  , representatives from National Drug Authority, and Ms. Azena Nambalirwa, second Secretary from the Uganda Embassy.
